Our hearts are heavy with the sad news we received last weekend. Dr Nabil Al Sharif, Executive Director of the Anna Lindh Foundation, passed away on Saturday 6 March 2021 due to covid19 disease.

We in the Anna Lindh Network honour his memory as a diplomat and a great man of dialogue. It has been a pleasure and privilege to know him and to work with him.

May he rest in peace.
