Throughout June 2024, the Africans and African-Europeans Association (AFAES ry) hosted a series of mental health workshops specifically designed for African men. These workshops aimed to provide a supportive environment for discussing mental health challenges, sharing coping strategies, and emphasizing the importance of seeking help. The initiative sought to create a safe space for men to share their experiences and support each other, fostering a sense of community and resilience.
By addressing cultural stigmas surrounding mental health within the African community, AFAES ry aimed to empower participants to prioritize their well-being and access the resources they needed. These workshops were part of AFAES ry’s ongoing commitment to promoting holistic health and well-being among African men in the community.
