The new leaders of the international ALF have been chosen – Finnish representation included

Jordanian Princess Rym Ali has been chosen as the new President of the international Anna Lindh Foundation. She will take office on 1st of September 2021. Princess Rym Ali is specialized in journalism and in the study of the modern Arab world. She has extensive experience in many international broadcasting companies and has also work as a foreign correspondent. She is the president of the Amman International Film Festival since 2019.

Spanish diplomat Josep Ferré has been chosen as the new Executive Director of the Anna Lindh Foundation. He will take office on 1st of September 2021.  Ferré has more than 15 years of experience in conceptualising and leading policy-oriented research projects and an extensive background in cooperation development programmes and networks management. He was the Director General (2017-2021) of the European Institute of the Mediterranean.

Finnish diplomat Mari Neuvonen started in her position as the new Chair of Board of Governors in the Anna Lindh Foundation in June 2021. She is currently working as Senior Adviser with questions related to Mediterranean Union and Southern Neighborhood of the EU at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland. Previously she worked as the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Finland in Cairo.
