Welcome to join Dr. Jaroslaw Suchoples “Cold War – connecting dots from the past, present and future” Thematic Seminar

Dr. Jaroslaw Suchoples has a very rich and varied career both in Academia and
in Diplomacy. He has got his Doctoral degree in the University of Helsinki, later
exercising scientific research in Berlin, Berkeley, Kuala Lumpur and elsewhere,
including the University of Jyväskylä. In diplomatic field he has served as
Ambassador of Poland to Finland. Nowadays he has returned to Academia as a
Senior Fellow at the Centre for Europe in the University of Warsaw. In the
attachment here enclosed I share with you a short description of Cold War research
by Dr. Jaroslaw Suchoples as well as his bio.

This is an an excellent opportunity to listen Dr. Jaroslaw
Suchoples telling how to locate the Cold War in a wider context and how
to interpret it in such a way that it provides us more understanding of today and
sheds light to our common future.
